The Internet Society Chennai Chapter invites Expressions of Interest from eligible members for nominations to serve on the Chapter’s Governing Body.

Nominations invited for:

• Chair

• Vice-Chair   

• Secretary

• Treasurer

Eligibility:

• The candidate shall be a current active member of ISOC India Chennai Chapter and an active participant of the chapter activities.

• The candidate must have attended at least three events organized by ISOC Chennai in the last year and should have made notable contributions to any area of Internet Governance policy or practice.  The candidate must describe in the self-nomination form which of these criteria shall apply to them, and provide details.

• The candidate should provide the minimum identification information as required by the Chapter, which may include membership id, email, contact number and residential address.

• The candidate shall provide a statement of intent outlining her/his background and what they would try to accomplish if elected, in the Self-Nomination declaration and send the same to isocchennaielections2025@gmail.com on or before 1.9.2025, 6.00 PM IST after which nominations will not be accepted

Process:

• Interested members are requested to submit their EOI by [1/9/2025] to [isocchennaielections2025@gmail.com].

• Please include: Full Name, Membership ID, Contact Information, and a brief statement of interest (max 250 words).

• All EOIs will be verified as per the Election Rules before being included in the nomination process.

We encourage active participation to strengthen our chapter’s governance and community activities.
