We are the Internet Society.

People are at the heart of our mission.

We believe everyone should be able to benefit from an open and trusted Internet. This value forms the pillars of our work.

The Internet is a place of possibility and opportunity. It is where we collaborate and innovate for a better world. Where we share our hopes and strengthen our bonds. It is where we work, learn, and make progress.

We are a global nonprofit organization empowering people to keep the Internet a force for good: open, globally connected, secure, and trustworthy.

The Internet Society is an independent, international, nonprofit, cost-based organisation established in 1992. We are dedicated to the stability, continuity and advancement of the Internet, not for its own sake but rather for the benefits the Internet can bring to all people. The Internet Society India Chennai Chapter primarily works to pursue the mission of the Internet Society to further the evolution of the Internet.
